Following some imperssions from different people.

Tourist in Paris: Everyone is so relaxed most of the time, and the streets are very safe and clean. There are shops everywhere, and none of the buildings are ridiculously tall. There's a Disneyland that I've been to in Paris, and outside Paris, there is a beautiful landscape of rolling hills dotted with farms. It's amazing!

Student:  it's so romantic. France is popular for the Eiffel Tower. They really take time for caring about their environment.

Foreigner to living in France:  The reasons for coming to France were :  space, weather and food and wine, as well as happniss and healthcare.

And some living foreigners think is as problem: earning a living, hard to find a job;  the old-fashioned nature of French life, especially in the countryside; high levels of tax; language problem.

French native students: beautiful in all its glory, I am very proud of our capital and its many attractions! The Eiffel Tower is beautiful, amazing view!

Google picture viewer:  I was just looking at some Google Street View pictures of central France (south of Paris) and I was shocked to see that it looked just like much of the Midwest!

Short staying: In terms of day-to-day life, there are a few differences I've noticed. The countryside is absolutely beautiful; the plus beaux villages really are lovely, the chateaux and many other historic sites are rich with history.

France is very multicultural. alot of africans, and arabs. french people are very friendly. not many of them speak english.
